Does Notre Dame have guidelines for content and design?

Yes, guidelines do exist.  We will be posting information about this soon.  

What hardware is recommended?

There are digital display packages that are available for purchase. Please refer to the Digital Signage Cost and Requirements page.

Can we use equipment we already have to create a digital sign? 

It may be possible for a department to use existing equipment to create a digital sign.  The digital signage team will need to verify compatibility.  To verify whether existing hardware may be compatible for digital signage use, please contact digitalsignage@nd.edu.

How can I obtain a digital sign?

To place an order, please contact the digital signage team at digitalsignage@nd.edu.  

How much does a digital sign cost?

There are digital display packages that are available for purchase. Please refer to the Digital Signage Cost and Requirements page. 

Will I have control over the content on my sign?

Yes.  You will create and control the content of the sign by using Industry Weapon's content program, CommandCenterHD. 

Can my digital sign stream live television? 

No.  This service is not currently available.  

What types of content can I add to my digital sign? 

There are many types of content that can be used on a digital sign.  Some of examples of content include video, RSS feeds, text, images, HTML, Excel, Powerpoint, PDFs, maps and weather.
