Zoned Wired Network

The Zoned Wired Network at Notre Dame separates faculty/staff, students and guests onto segregated virtual networks, providing each group with firewall protection and other security controls.

To use the wired Zoned Network, you will need to provide your NetID and password on a periodic basis. This security control ensures that only authorized members of the Notre Dame community have access to our network, protecting the privacy and security of both University and personal information.

Zoned Network Exception Request Form

This form is used for devices that are unable to authenticate to the network. Devices without web browsers needing to connect to campus networks will likely need an exception. The OIT Help Desk will contact you when the exception request is processed and configured. This typically takes 1-2 business days.

Note:  For Games & Entertainment systems, please follow these instructions.

If you have any questions about this initiative or need help connecting your system to the network, please contact your departmental IT support staff or the OIT Help Desk at (574) 631-8111 or via email to oithelp@nd.edu for assistance.
