Netfile Quotas
All individual NetID accounts at Notre Dame are provisioned with a specific amount of space (quota) within NetFile to use upon account generation.
Default Quotas for Individual NetID Accounts:
Faculty & Staff |
30 GB |
Students (Undergraduate & Graduate) |
2 GB |
When you view the contents of your NetFile home folder in WebFile, you will see your quota use information for NetFile near the top of the page.
Faculty & Staff Increase Requests
Faculty and Staff who need more than 30GB of space can complete the Netfile Quota Increase Request Form.
Student Quota Increase Requests
Students who need more than 2GB of space must print and complete the Request Additional Quota Form (PDF) and deliver it to the OIT Help Desk in 128 DeBartolo Hall.
All quota increases are subject to system administrator approval. Please allow up to two (2) business days for processing quota increase requests.
